Steven has spent the 33 years of his professional life variously between private practice and as “in-house counsel”, principally specialising in corporate acquisitions (both domestic and international), joint ventures, licensing, distribution and agency agreements and the related tax issues, particularly in the application of double taxation treaties.
Steven has spent two significant periods working with international oil exploration project and trading companies in areas as diverse as Sub-Saharan West Africa and the Siberia region of Russia. Between 1998 and 2005 Steven was Group Legal Director for an international tax advisory and corporate services company with fourteen offices worldwide.


Kehinde Durosinmi-Etti has over three decades of management and leadership experience as a Chartered Accountant and Banker. After a stint in audit practice; he started his banking career in 1987 when he joined the Nigerian-American Merchant Bank Limited (an Affiliate of Bank of Boston). Out of the 27 years career span in Banking and other financial services, 16 of these years were spent in top leadership positions as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of three different Banks in Nigeria, Midas Bank in 1995, Eko International Bank in 2002 and Skye Bank in 2010 and each time leaving on his own volition.

Kehinde has been variously described as a leader, an astute Banker, turnaround expert, a paradigm of professionalism with experience that cuts across Operations, Technology, Treasury, Corporate and Investment Banking. He is a highly experienced Chief Executive Officer with integrated expertise in local and global financial markets, corporate strategy and experience in boardroom and corporate governance issues.

He holds a first degree in Economics from the University of lbadan and he is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA) United Kingdom.

Aitua Ekhaese is a Partner at Havenvest Private Equity Middle East Limited (formerly HSBC Private Equity Middle East Limited), a private equity firm focused on growth capital and buyout opportunities in the MENA region. Prior to Havenvest, Aitua was a director at Aspen Advisory Services Ltd; a London based private investment office. Before Aspen, Aitua was the Head of Investment Banking and Co-Head of Corporate Finance at Saudi International Bank, London.Aitua is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BA in Economics from the University of Manchester in the UK.


Alba supports IntroAfrica’s clients in establishing sustainable business relationships in Sub Saharan Africa through her strong understanding of socio-economic and cultural issues allied with her expansive experience in initiating, designing, monitoring and evaluating economic developmental projects on the continent. She leverages her 30 years plus of experience in regional and national development, having worked with several NGOs, Governments and International bodies.

Alba specializes among other areas, in identifying specific needs of underserved markets, including core regional economic and developmental needs. She translates these needs into opportunities and matches them with international champions, investors and financiers. Alba also helps clients to navigate the Sub Saharan political landscape thereby ensuring the progress and successful execution of projects. Alba’s projects frequently require her to relate effectively with stakeholders at all levels from community grass root organizations to regional and central national governments.

Alba’s career of over 30 years includes significant roles at the UK National Commission for UNESCO, East African Governments, The World Bank, Africa Development Bank, UNESCO, UNICEF, World Food Programme, and the Commonwealth Secretariat.

Alba obtained her doctorate at Stanford University in the field of Economics of Education. She currently serves on the Board of the Council for Education in the Commonwealth.


Alan had almost three decades in international banking – holding a number of senior positions – prior to moving to his current Dubai location in Management / Financial Consultancy some eleven years ago. During his banking career, Alan held various positions within four major banking groups – National Westminster Bank, Royal Bank of Canada (Regional Representative for the Middle East) and Saudi affiliates of Credit Agricole Indosuez and ABN-AMRO (including as Assistant General Manager (AGM) for the Commercial & Retail Banking Group) of a JV bank in Saudi Arabia.

Alan has been involved in project and finance related transactions, private corporate advisory / business structuring, commodity, risk management and arbitration work, both within the Gulf and outside. Alan has been based in the Arabian Gulf for most of his career.
